Right so, I did say I would write up a little something something about my time in Vietnam after I pretty much dedicated my undying love to America and independence like a proper redneck in the last post.

-In my defense this was a post fueled by a lot of questionable Vietnamese wine and, I'm pretty sure, the forced veganism.

The thing is, there are so many aspects of that beautiful chaos to talk about and I'd hate to bore you with a long list. So I'm just going to talk about what was the most spectacular part, much to Nomadic Matt's disapproval.

It was the people. The homies. My brothers. The Vietnamese.

I remember it like it was yesterday, the first time I saw New York city from a plane window. It was a cold, cloudy night in December and frankly the view was less than spectacular -only a few murky lights below, but sky-scraping silhouettes peaking through the mist rendered my imagination wild to the possibilities.

The capital, Ho Chi Minh City (or Saigon as the locals say -and me, because well, it just sounds cooler) could give any major metropolitan city a run for its money.

The coffee culture, sky bars and fashion kind of remind me of parts of New York. There are also a plethora of trendy creatives and hipsters downtown. Its like Asian Brooklyn but with less misplaced self-importance...

However, don't be fooled, it's certainly not perfect. Especially for prospe...

4 Things You Need to Know About Working Travel

Short answer: no. Of course not.

Don't let that insta of the leggy girl in Belize derail you because you're sitting at your desk eating a shitty deli sandwich (the kind with the bad carbs).

-For starters, you don't know how many coconuts she had to cut to get that perfect shape.

Secondly, she probably couldn’t drink it either because by the time her presumably part-time photographer/boyfriend got a photo that satisfied her, that thing would have evaporated in the casual national average 35°C heat.

The things we do for the perfect insta, right?

Jokes aside, it really isn't just sunshine and rainbows. Life and nature in itself are all about balance. Obviously you need the 'rain' to...
